I collect data from each visit to help maintain the site and prevent abuse. I do not sell it or disclose it except to the service providers described below. If you would like to be exempt, you can contact me.

What is recorded
Records can include the time, requested page, IP address, country, browser or user-agent, referring page, and whether a request looked automated. Feedback includes the message you submit and the same request details. The private message inbox also records failed personal-page sign-in outcomes and request details. Entered passwords and verification tokens are never included in those records.
How it is used
The data is used only to operate, secure, and improve this site. I do not sell it or use it for advertising.
How long it is kept
Visit, session, and feedback records in the live database use a 180-day retention period and are removed by automated daily cleanup once they are older than that. Replies and failed personal-page sign-in outcomes stored in the private message inbox share that 180-day retention period. Security records for rate limits, challenges, and failed sign-ins outside the message inbox are removed after 30 days. Manual recovery exports may be retained separately for disaster recovery, are kept out of the public site, and are deleted when no longer operationally necessary.
Services involved
Cloudflare hosts the site and database, Google serves the web fonts, and feedback and visitor alerts are delivered privately to me through Discord. This includes personal-page replies and failed sign-in outcomes. Those providers may process the relevant request or message data under their own privacy terms.
